The tasting menu, while pricey, will be one of your most memorable dining experiences ever. Every bite is something new. Sit at the bar to watch artful food created right before you.

Trust in master John Bailey for the best Omakase experience in NYC. Easily the best sushi restaurant around and John makes eating here lots of fun.
Incredible tapas, great atmosphere. In the running for my favorite restaurant in new york. I've been 10 times, and will easily go 10 more.
Perfect French Bistro. Fantastic 1st, or 100th date spot. Wait in line to get a table to try the Bouchee a la reine, which is out of this world.
Great Seafood, entertaining open kitchen, and probably the nicest hostess around makes this one of my favorite restaurants in the city . Go and put your name in and grab a beer to drink outside while you wait. Fresh grilled whole fish (changes frequently) is the way to go here.
Escape the tourists in midtown and duck into this bustling cuban/dominican lunch spot for the best Cuban Sandwich in the city and an eclectic group of dining companions ranging from business men to construction workers.
One of Mario Batali's best. The food of Catalunya in the heart of Grammercy.
Good for a weekend brunch, or a late dinner, the food here is fantastic and the crowd is beautiful.
Small Filipino-Spanish tapas joint tucked away in the 2nd floor of a rundown building in the LES. Great menu, and cheap.
