We like the Second Avenue Kosher Deli for its pastrami, soul-warming chicken-in-the-pot, fat specials (hot dogs) served with sauerkraut and beans, cholent (a casserole of beef, potatoes, beans and barley), creamy chopped liver and the bowl of sour and half-sour pickles and pickled tomatoes that sits on every table for nibbling while you decide.  more →
