Each year the JBF Awards committee and judges compile lists of more than 20 semifinalists for each category in our Restaurant and Chef awards. These lists are then voted on by the judges, committee, and previous winners in order to select the eventual nominees. Here's the 2010 list of chefs and restaurants that made the cut for Best Chef: NYC. Each restaurant is a stellar example of what makes New York City a great food town.
